Mini-Moon p.II

Last year we decided to commemorate our honeymoon (we drove cross country for two weeks in 2009) we would discover a place we've never been on the anniversary of our favorite trip.  We decided to go to the berkshires, a somewhat picturesque little place just north of my mother's house in massachusetts.  This year, we dove right back in and decided we had to go to one of the places we've both always wanted to see at halloween; Salem!
Husband and I have a shared love of all things halloween and haunted.  We didn't do magic or wear anything velvet, though, so don't worry we're not that weird.  On our original trip we took lots of ghost hunting tours and creeped about historic cemeteries.  Okay, that sounds a little weird.
Salem was an adorable little town.  We found it a little gimmicky at times and definitely overcrowded, but our happy little hotel room provided a much needed getaway for the weekend.  We did a quickie tour of Boston for some vegan eats (rare in this neck of the woods), a couple historical ghost and witch tours, ate amazing clam chowder and giggled at all the people who were clearly way more into this holiday than we thought we were.
