We're standing.

I hope you're all alive and thriving through the disaster that tore through the region on monday night.  While we don't have any power or heat, we have friends and family with open arms and a very welcoming ikea that has let us roam around for hours, watching movies and playing cards in their mock livingrooms.

This is the first halloween (and first time period) we've been in the dark, but you don't need electricity to carve a pumpkin, luckily!  I'll include a few shots of our home decorated before we were displaced, ruby hating the black cat, husband lining the walkway with a spooky little army and our livingroom at night.  Here's hoping yours will be a happy one.
